Some of the cultural event highlights of 2023 are set out below.

12th January – A few glimpses of the cultural event. Smt. Sohini Roy Choudhury’s musical evening.

14th February – Glimpses of the enthralling dance and recitation performance by Smt.Shreya Chakraborty and Shri Amit Banerjee

20th January – Classic musical evening with the eminent Indian artist Mr. Bratin Khan. On this occasion, his famous painting of Sri Aurobindo was gifted to Aumorto.

19th February – On The Mother’s 145th Birth Anniversary, Aumorto organized Children’s drawing competition at Canning centre.

21st February – On The Mother’s 145th Birth Anniversary, Aumorto hosted a live concert by Shri Saikat Ghosh at Canning Center.

11th March – Glimpses of Holi celebration organized by the members of the Interact club and Ideas and Impression club of The Future Foundation School. Fun-filled, and colorful Holi!

10th April – Aniruddha Roy, a resident of Aumorto enjoys birding, which is one of his hobbies. A sneak preview of the birding presentation for his friends. This evoked great appreciation from all the residents and Aumorto’s management & staff.

12th April – On the 5th Foundation Day of Aumorto, renowned vocalist Srabani Sen presented a glimpse of the soulful renditions of Rabindra Sangeet. All residents who attended appreciated the cultural show at Aumorto very much.

18th May – Smt. Srinanda Bhattacharya with her group presented soulful
renditions of Thakur Barir Gaan

12th June – A glimpse of a mesmerizing dancing performance by Jaitri,
Ritik Majhi, and the group

20th July – A glimpse of the cultural event by Smt. Sanjukta Das’s vocal
recital

20th September – Beautiful songs of D L Roy, Dilip Roy, Rajanikanta Sen, and Atul Prasad Sen by Kakoli Choudhury

20th September – The IDEAS & IMPRESSIONS CLUB (TFFS) and many of the Aumorto residents gathered for a unique book release অর্ঘ্য (Arghya) an anthology comprising poems by Somnath Mondol, an amazingly talented creative person, a prolific composer of rhymes and poems

7th November – Aumorto hosted a magnificent evening with the beautiful songs of D L Roy, Dilip Kumar Roy, Rajanikanta Sen and Atul Prasad Sen by Nupurchanda Ghosh at Canning Centre.

 

10th November- A glimpse of the cultural event by the staff of Aumorto.

25th November – Glimpse of the captivating performances by the talented teachers of The Future Foundation School.

Some of the cultural event highlights of 2024 are set out below

24th January – A glimpse of a vocal concert by Bangladesh’s renowned vocalist Tanjima Tama. The senior residents who attended had an enriching cultural experience.

2nd February  – Mesmerizing musical evening featuring Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan & Pandit Anindo Chatterjee, celebrating the 88th Birthday Anniversary of Mrs. Joya Mitter

10th February – Aumorto hosted a vocal recital conducted by Punascha – a narrative, based on the life sketch of Poet, artiste, Nishikanto Roy Choudhury at Canning Centre

12th April – On the occasion of Aumorto’s 6th anniversary, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture has organized a musical evening featuring Smt. Chandrabali Rudra Dutta at Aumorto.

23rd May – A few glimpses of the cultural event. Smt. Tama Majumder’s
musical evening.

25th June – A Glimpse of the Nazrul Geeti evening by Pt. Shantanu
Bhattacharya at Aumorto

31st July – Glimpses of a vocal concert by renowned Rabindra Sangeet vocalists Ms. Rajashree Bhattacharya and Mr. Aniruddha Sinha. This special occasion reasserts the enriching cultural way of life for the residents at Aumorto.

10th September – Some beautiful moments from our enchanting evening
filled with the soulful melodies of Rabindrasangeet, brought to life
by exceptionally talented Shreya Guhathakurta
